Our Restaurant

The design of our restaurant echoes our food: mixing the classic with the modern. From traditional dark wood interiors, a neutral colour palate and thai wood flooring.
These are complemented by traditional Thai motifs, from subtle wall mounted carvings to unique stone filled tables with thai flowers.

The Food We Serve

Tara Thai is a traditional thai restaurant in the heart of Southend.
As in Thailand, our dishes are made to share, and include a flavoursome selection of freshly prepared salads, pad Thais, wok noodles, stir fries, curries and grills, to accompany our deliciously moreish small plates.

What a cracking little find. We sampled the set lunch menu coupled with some dumplings and found it was absolutely superb value. The whole place is spotless and the service exemplary. We will definitely be going back for more when we're down that way.
